Although we create a business through acts of consumption, we do not wish you to become a sales or delivery person. We certainly do not wish that you see this business as a get-rich-quick, opportunistic scheme, these are all incorrect beliefs.
This is a career plan which can compress our journey to success, thus, you will need to compress your efforts too. This means that you may need to put in more effort than the others who are still working on a job or running other businesses.

The wisdom of doing-nothing at the beginning
Understanding the most fundamental part of this business can effectively compress the time we are required to strive in this business. These most fundamental parts are - we must obey the core principles and fundamental theories of this business.
Normally, these are the parts which are easily ignored and violated.

The common mistakes people make are: while we have not truly understood this business, and before mastering the professional methods, we go out and look for people, thinking that it is the more the merrier.

The first wrong move most people ever make in this business is not mastering the fundamental actions. These people end up working on matters which are ineffective and unproductive.
However, another trap is that people assume that mastering the basics is all they need to do in running the business, as a consequence: they work hard like buffalos yet the outcome is not ideal.
The fundamental actions are like the foundation required for the construction of a high-rise building. While you are laying down the foundations, you will need to use professional and effective building systems like cranes, conveyor belts and scaff-folding!

Basic Knowledge – Business Cycle
No matter which kind of business or career it is, there is a certain business cycle from the beginning till getting the rewards. This is the basic knowledge and rhythm of Building.

The market is always more important than the profits

Such strategy applies to the development of our business too. Profits are slim rewards, only the market share is wealth. The awareness of this knowledge can influence your destiny in this business, which is to say: it is your choice to become a Network-Building Engineer, or just a great sales person!

Remember that your network is your eternal focus, not the sale of products
This implies that you have understood the essence of this business, you have understood the crux of its operation, you have understood the direction of your efforts. This is the core of building! In a world where ‘Network Economy’ roams, we do not need any further illustration!


Nurturing is more important than building!

Part Four : Nurturing

Most people do not fail while in the process of building this business, but generally they felt lost while in the process of nurturing this business.

As a matter of fact, anyone can recruit a few people. Based on this logic, anyone can build a team. However, once we begin to form a small team, all kinds of problems will start to surface, this calls for the need to understand how we can nurture this business.

Effective nurturing focuses around ‘you’, basically speaking, it is more accurate to say that we nurture ‘you’ rather than your business. Simply because when your organization requires nurturing, that is the time the business is testing you, which areas of testing include your character and leadership abilities.

You will not be able to single-handedly nurture your organization, although you may be able to do this to a limited extent, that would only be like doing repair works, patching here and there, far from fulfilling your goals.

We need a more scientific, more people-orientated & more effective system of nurturing, which everyone could carry out, only then true multiplication can become a reality!

Principles for Nurturing :

1. The Business moulds the Person, not otherwise.
2. Maintain Balance
3. Become a Leader
4. Refrain from doing certain things are more important than doing what needs to be done

When do you need to start nurturing
Once you have built a team of 30-50 people, that is the time you need to do Nurturing. There is little difference between nurturing a team of 30-50 people and a team of 3000-5000 people.
Because no matter what size is the team you are nurturing, you are not doing it by yourself and it is also not possible to do it by yourself, you are merely leveraging on the flow of a scientific system!

This is the most vulnerable stage
Why do people burn out during this stage of nurturing and not during the building stage is because this is the most vulnerable stage. When problems surface, most people will be tempted to use their ‘own way’, instead of the ‘system-way’ to try to solve the problems, by doing so, the outcome would only bring about more problems.
Hence, the Network-Builder becomes the Fire-Fighter, then it will become difficult to have a business breakthrough!

Beware of the ‘Good’ things
During this most vulnerable stage, people may come out with loads of good ideas and great strategies. Regretfully speaking, this business does not need good ideas and great strategies, it needs methods and strategies which are duplicable. Good things are normally non-duplicable. You must learn to beware of them!

What is the nature of Nurturing
The nature of nurturing is personal growth!
Personal growth is the only and best protection for organizational development, other things merely progress around this goal. Personal growth involves you and each and everyone in your organization, signifying that everyone has to become better and better all the time!
On a personal level, nurturing means that while you are doing the things you need to do, refrain from doing the things you are not supposed to do, whether it is major or minor, because these things may destroy the business that you have spent time and effort building up!
Please keep this point at heart!

What really is the System? We understand the reality that in this industry, the term and concept of ‘System’ have often been misused!

Regret to note that people often mix ‘a bunch of stuffs’ with ‘System’. You would agree that imitation is so easily done, things on the surface often remain superficial.

However, these extreme things still happen to a lot of people, they either hold an overly simplistic understanding of the ‘System’. Or they made it into something too complicated!

Once you gain this realization, you will be exclaiming that, this industry needs a scientific system, we need to build the proper order for a system!

The things which many people are unwilling to do, or deemed to be unsuitable, or even discarded are often the essence and nature of a System.

Do not be misled further, come and discover for yourself!

System begins with your mind, it begins with your thinking!

If you only have one reason to attract others - that is to make money, others will have many reasons to leave you!

If you are unable to provide a bigger picture, others will not see hope!
A bigger picture implies more people, more different people, more role models, more plus points and insights pertaining to this business!
The scariest thing that could happen to any situation is when people do not see hope, it would be very demoralizing! The reason for the existence of a System is to provide you with a bigger picture, to provide everyone in your organization the sight of clear and distinct hope!

If you do not know what you are doing is incorrect, reality will quickly furnish you with an experience of finding out that is a mistake!
